BCV Maintenance Service for Emergency Power Plants at the Maracaibo Sub-branch Facilities

2022. Venezuela

A comprehensive technical support and modernization program was carried out for the emergency power generation systems. The project focused on guaranteeing the critical availability of diesel-driven plants with capacities of 625 kVA and 350 kVA, ensuring that the backup infrastructure responds immediately to any interruption in the main power supply.

Specialized Component Supply: Provision of original electrical and mechanical spare parts for diesel engines and auxiliary systems.

Preventive and Corrective Maintenance: Execution of technical protocols to extend the lifespan of the generators and correct operational deviations.

Automatic Transfer Switch (ATS) Automation: Installation and configuration of a new automatic transfer system designed to manage intelligent sequencing between generators.

Emergency Technical Support: Deployment of highly qualified personnel for the immediate handling of failures and contingencies 24 hours a day.

Operation Panel Optimization: Adaptation of the control and power systems that interconnect the plants with the low-voltage network.

This technical intervention ensured the machines’ reliable ignition and enabled the automatic transfer system to make intelligent decisions to optimize energy resources.
